The innovative Turtle Island String Quartet offers a new take on jazz legend John Coltrane’s landmark work A Love Supreme alongside the world premiere of a collaborative new work written jointly by the foursome and commissioned by Lively Arts. Revered for reframing the classic string quartet aesthetic with jazz, folk, bebop, and R&B, this Grammy-winning ensemble returns to Stanford for the first time in two decades.
