TurkFest: Cultural Reflections of Nature October 17, 2009

TurkFest, the annual Turkish Cultural Festival of Seattle, fosters friendship, understanding, and cooperation throughout the greater community by organizing educational, entertaining, and engaging cultural programs that celebrate Turkish culture and heritage.

An ancient Anatolian philosophy describes earth, air, water, and fire as the four basic elements of nature. At TurkFest, audiences will enjoy performances, exhibits, youth activities, arts & crafts, documentaries, workshops, and cuisine that explore the historical, social, and cultural connection between humanity and nature to demonstrate how the four elements of nature shape the daily lives of people in and around Turkey.

The event is FREE for ALL ages!
