Tunnel to Towers 5K Race September 26, 2010

Suspenders Restaurant, long-time Tunnel to Towers supporter, will provide the food for the upcoming Tunnel to Towers Run in memory of firefighter Stephen Siller on Sunday, Sept. 26th. Tunnel to Towers is a non-profit organization, which honors the wonderful legacy of love by Stephen Siller by paying tribute to his heroic life and death, his 342 FDNY brothers and all those lost on 9/11. The inspiring 5K race will begin on the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel and will finish at West and Vesey Streets. Participants will be greeted at the finish line with awards for all category winners, a street fair with a wide variety of delicious Suspenders food and entertainment for everyone. Special games and entertainment will be available for children, including face painting, clowns, balloons and lots, lots more. There is a $50 registration fee for those registered before Sept. 22. and a $60 fee for those registered after. Children under 12 are free.
