Looking for special - and very unique - open mic in downtown Manhattan, with wall-to-wall people and great energy? Swing by the Organic Open Mic at the gorgeous Bareburger organic restaurant in the East Village - the home of some of the best tasting food on the planet.

Produced by the long-running Inspired Word open mic series, which has featured Grammy winners, American Idol finalists, Golden Globe Award winners, Emmy nominated actors, and HBO Def Poetry stars, this open mic is open to ALL types of performing artists - comedians, musicians, storytellers, singers, poets, fiction/nonfiction writers, playwrights, spoken word artists, performance artists, dancers.

The event takes place on the second floor, with full-length windows on all sides that offers an especially beautiful view.

EVERY TUESDAY NIGHT.

35 slots, 5-minute time limit, 7pm-11pm.

No age limit.

Exclusive open mic burger and beer specials (and the burgers are the BEST in NYC). And a free drink to the first 10 people signing up to perform.

Menu includes classic beef burgers, but also lamb, wild boar, ostrich, bison, and elk. You can put your burger between a variety of buns, including brioche, a multi-grain roll, iceberg lettuce wrap, or tapioca rice bun, spice it up with things like apple smoked onions, bourbon sauteed mushrooms, a variety of cheeses and cilantro lime dressing. And believe us when we tell you that you haven't lived until you've tried Bareburger's fried bread & butter pickle chips. They also have the most luscious-tasting salads, such as the beet and goat cheese or cranberry blue. And wash it all down either with a hand-crafted, natural soda or a luscious organic shake that comes in vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, raspberry, pistachio, banana, peanut butter or peanut butter chocolate.
