Our June 28th speaker, James F. Fitzgerald, will focus on identifying and overcoming the seven stumbling blocks that frustrate job seekers. His directness and candor is pleasantly refreshing. Mr. Fitzgerald was one of the founders of the Career Transitions Center (CTC), at Old St. Patrick’s in Chicago and served as the Chairman of the Board for CTC for five years.
He has given hundreds of presentations and written over 150 articles about the job transition process. He is President of James F. Fitzgerald & Associates, Inc., an Oak Brook based senior executive coaching firm. To connect, email jamesffitz@sbcglobal.net.
We meet in the St. Mary Immaculate Parish Stewardship Room. We’re located at 15629 South Rt 59 in Plainfield.
If you are new to networking, come at 6:30 pm for an introduction to networking tools like the Handbill and the Elevator Speech. Mr. Fitzgerald will speak shortly after 7:00 pm.
You can also meet with our volunteer coaches (each an experienced hiring manager) for a one-on-one "Work Session" to get your resume and handbill reviewed, develop networking & interviewing skills, or talk with a coach about spiritual/emotional/financial help needs.
There is no cost to attend, pre-registration is not required, and everyone is welcome. Dress is casual.
