Tues. July 26th, “Is Your Resume a Frequent Flyer in the Circular File?” July 26, 2011

Kevin Crews, a favorite Employment Ministry speaker, will help you make sure your resume does not hit the “circular file.”

Kevin Crews (The Career Strategist) is the Principal and Chief Consultant for Corporate Transition Services (CTS), an outplacement and HR training company that is dedicated to getting people employed faster at a company they love and at a salary they deserve.

Kevin will speak on July 26th in the St. Mary Immaculate Parish Faith Sharing Room. We’re located at 15629 South Rt. 59 in Plainfield.

If you are new to networking, come at 6:30 pm for an introduction to networking tools like the Handbill and the Elevator Speech. Mr. Crews will speak shortly after 7:00 pm.

You can also meet with our volunteer coaches (each an experienced hiring manager) for a one-on-one "Work Session" to get your resume and handbill reviewed, develop networking & interviewing skills, or talk with a coach about spiritual/emotional/financial help needs. There is no cost to attend, pre-registration is not required, and everyone is welcome. Dress is casual.
