Theatre Passe Muraille presents Trudeau Stories, written & performed by the award-winning stage and screen actor Brooke Johnson. This beautifully written play is based on the memories of Brooke’s 15-year friendship with former Prime Minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau. In 1985, while a student at Montreal’s National Theatre School, Brooke became friends with Trudeau. Using diary entries, letters and enacted memories as seen through the eyes of a passionate artist, Brooke offers a personal insight into the man and the times. This poignant and charming tale about friendship and loss, and who we think we are comes to Theatre Passe Muraille from November 14 to December 6.
