TRU Producer Boot Camp 2012 May 19, 2012

Anyone who’s ever felt a little overwhelmed by the challenges of producing can take comfort, because help is here. Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) offers you the step-by-step guidance you need to succeed with the TRU PRODUCER BOOT CAMP: Weekend Intensive for Showcase Producing on Saturday, May 19th and Sunday, May 20th, 2012. The comprehensive workshop runs from 10am-6pm each day at the Players Theatre, 3rd Floor Loft, 115 MacDougal Street, NYC.
Now in its fourth year, the intensive offers basic training for producers producing at the reading and Equity Showcase levels with a specific focus on producing in upcoming summer festivals. Keynote speakers will include Broadway producer Ken Waissman (Grease, Agnes of God, Torch Song Trilogy) and a phenomenal lineup of experts covering everything from Production Timeline and Budgeting to Raising Money and Marketing. Every aspect of showcase producing will be broken down into easy-to-understand step-by-step modules by producers Jane Dubin, Jeremy Handelman and Patricia Klausner; entertainment attorney Erach Screwvala; financial advisor Bailie Slevin; marketing consultant Ciara Pressler and other top professionals.
