Troupe DeVille in Concert - Opera, Flamenco & Blues Share the Stage August 22, 2009

Andre Feriante, Eric Fridrich, and Steve Thoreson will fuse their unique and extraordinary musical talents at a special concert Saturday, August 22nd, 8PM at the Panida Theater in Sandpoint, ID. The Seattle-based trio formed earlier this year while on a road trip to Idaho resulting in an impromptu show surprising the musicians as much as the audience. Since then, they have performed as a group at the Triple Door in Seattle, Washington, the Old Church in Portland, Oregon, and a regionally televised concert at The Upstage in Port Townsend, Washington. The upcoming concert at the Panida represents a pilgrimage to the birthplace of this rare collaboration. Troupe DeVille will take their audience on an emotional expedition, through expansive sound landscapes, and spiritually-charged detours. In their concert, you will hear solos from all three of the artists, duos and trio improvisations, and shared explorations of many styles including Classical, Jazz, Blues, Brazilian, Flamenco, and Native American.
