Trips for Kids Benefit Night @ DC9. Great music!!!!!! July 26, 2006

TRIPS FOR KIDS METRO DC is holding its third annual TFK Benefit Concert Night at DC9 on Wednesday, July 26. The headliner is DC-based No Second Troy, with Reverb Galaxy opening the show at 8:15 p.m. Suggested donation at the door is $15. Join us for door prizes, great music, and great food and drink. Doors open for happy hour at 5:00 p.m. DC9 is located at 1940 9th Street, NW. (21+ only please.)
The proceeds from the evening will support TFK Metro DC's mission to provide important life lessons to area kids through fun and educational mountain bike excursions into Virginia, Maryland and DC parks and nature areas. TFK Metro DC mountain bike excursions provide much-needed physical activity and healthy food, as well as excitement and adventure, to alleviate some of the stresses felt by today's urban youth. These rides also provide an opportunity to educate kids on important issues such as self-worth, personal responsibility, health, environment, career options, and other timely issues. Kids leave their adventures with a sense of accomplishment, fond memories, and new knowledge about themselves and their world.
