Trips for Kids 15th Annual Bike Swap & Sale July 15, 2006

Trips for Kids 15th Annual Bike Swap & Sale will be Saturday, July 15th from 10am ? 4pm at Mill Valley Middle School, 425 Sycamore Ave., Mill Valley CA. Proceeds from the ?Swap? benefit Trips for Kids youth biking program for inner city youth.

If you are coming to shop, there will be a huge selection of bikes and bike related items for sale at ?rock bottom? prices. If you are interested in selling your bike "stuff", contact Trips for Kids for details.

Each year Trips for Kids takes hundreds of inner-city kids from the Bay Area on guided mountain bike adventures, many of whom have never been outside of their urban neighborhoods. In 1999 Trips for Kids became a national program. There are now 45 chapters from coast to coast, with more in the works. Trips for Kids also operates Re-Cyclery, a bike thrift store and job-training center for low-income youth. Re-Cyclery is located at 610 4th Street in San Rafael and is open Tuesday - Friday noon - 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
