Trio Novo Tempo May 23, 2006

Just a reminder that I'll be performing with Trio Novo Tempo at the beautiful and intimate Julie's Coffee & Tea Garden in Alameda TONIGHT (5/23) from 7-9PM.

Trio Novo Tempo is a mini-combo comprised of members of my eight-piece Brazilian band Novo Tempo. Please join me (Ed, on guitar and vocals), Kristen Strom (sax, flute, vocals), and Scott Sorkin (guitar, mandolin, vocals) for a captivating two hours of original music and covers, all inspired by the best of Brazilian music. It's really good music. Really!! We may even be graced by an appearance by Novo Tempo percussionist Michaelle Goerlitz! Really!!

We're filling in for Sylvia Herold and Chuck Ervin, who usually hold down the fort on Tuesday evenings. Sylvia and Chuck have helped build Julie's into a happening venue, perfect for anyone looking for quality music early in the week.
