Shelley Rotner - Author and photo-illustrator of over 30 award-winning children’s books. Her most recent books include, Many Ways, Every Season, Feeling Thankful, What’s Love? and coming soon Dogs Don’t Brush Their Teeth. Ms. Rotner is also a noted free-lance photojournalist, whose work has appeared in Time Magazine, National Geographic’s World Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, Outside Magazine, Food and Wine, and numerous others. She has also traveled extensively for UNICEF documenting programs about children, women and education. Currently, Ms Rotner is working on a collection of large hand-painted photographs that capture beautiful and sacred places she has discovered in her travels.

Abby Reiser – Graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (’83) in metalwork and surface design. Since 2003, Ms. Reiser has served as a Gatekeeper, managing the recycling center in Northampton, MA. Accumulating innumerable found objects over the years, she draws from a vast library of materials for sculptural pieces. Although the materials used in Ms. Reiser’s assemblages are quite diverse, they share in common a beautiful patina, soft edges, and worn surfaces. Maintaining a studio in Northampton, her current work incorporates the influences of Joseph Cornell and lifelong mentor Varujan Boghosian.

Allison Ives- A background in printmaking and involvement in stained glass provided Ms. Ives with a strong graphic sensitivity and focus on the qualities of line and pattern. She works in many different mediums; mixed media, photography, stained glass, metal, oil, and watercolor. Ms. Ives has maintained a studio in the Mystic, CT area for 30 years and her work is exhibited at local galleries and in many local private collections.
