Tri-state Quilters' Day March 21, 2009

Tri-State Quilters' Day will be held at Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center at 1901 Lynch Rd in Evansville, IN, March 21, 2009, in celebration of National Quilting Day. Two nationally-known fiber artist and teachers will be the featured speakers, Dallas Reed from Indianapolis, IN at 10:30 am and Marti Plager from Louisville, KY at 1:00 pm. Also included on the program are quilt displays, vendors, and show and tell quilted items from each of three guilds, along with information on how to join one of the quilt guilds. The daylong event, 9AM - 3PM CDT, celebrates the art of quilting in the Tri-State area. The event is open to the public and tickets can be purchased at the door for $5.
