Trespass -The Music of Genesis, is a tribute to the early years of the British progressive rock band Genesis. The songs are culled from the dawning of the group's popularity with Peter Gabriel fronting the band, covering songs from the albums "Nursery Cryme," "Foxtrot," "Selling England by the Pound" and "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway." Trespass performs this wonderfully complex music with an emphasis on presenting the layered sounds of the original recordings, as well as the excitement of well-crafted live presentation. "Trespass-The Music of Genesis" is a must see show for fans of the extraordinary music of Genesis.

BRIAN FILONE
His musical career began when he started playing the trumpet in school bands from 4th grade all the way through high school. At 16 he started playing guitar. He landed a job as the guitarist for “Danny & the Juniors” (At The Hop, Rock and Roll is Here to Stay) when he was 20. As the band leader for “Danny & the Juniors” his band backed up many other ‘50s acts including “The Marvelettes”, “The Drifters”, “Bobby Tossin' And Turnin' Lewis”, “Little Anthony”, “Bobby Vee”, “Tiny Tim”, “Lou Christie”, “Bo Diddley” and “Del Shannon” among others. He graduated from The Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, Ca. and has toured the nation and the Carribean in various top 40 bands the most recent being The Johnny Turk Band a New Jersey and Pa popular party band. His favorite album of all time is The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway and if you would have asked him when he was young what he wanted to be when he grew up he probably would have said "I wanna be Peter Gabriel!!" Being the lead singer of Trespass is the next best thing. He learned how to play the flute for this position as lead singer of Trespass.

MICHAEL LABUONO
Michael was born, raised and still resides in Delaware County, PA. He began his classical piano training at the age of 6 and received numerous performance awards in his youth. At the age of 13, Michael met up with renowned Phillie's organist Paul Richardson, who instructed him in Jazz improvisation and theory. During this span, Michael also won two Yamaha performance competitions.
Michael attended West Chester University for Music and during this time met up with the band Witness, who were a popular classic/progressive rock band. He wound up spending the next 14 years with them performing up and down the East Coast and recording and releasing numerous original songs.
During the 90’s, Michael made numerous appearances in the Off-Broadway production of Tony and Tina’s Wedding. He played the part of Johnny Wonderful, the frustrated pianist in the wedding band Fusion
For the past 10 years, Michael has been performing in various bands performing a variety of styles of music. Throughout his music career, Michael’s roots still remain in the Progressive rock era of the 60’s and 70’s.

FLIP BRITTON
Flip Britton was born and grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. He began his musical career learning the clarinet and later tenor sax and flute. When his brother Marc's band needed a bass player on short notice, Flip, who was only in seventh grade, stepped up and learned to play bass in an amazingly short time. He attended Penn State University for one year. However, at the end of that year Marc's new band SYN, now full time, needed bass player. Flip again filled the bill.
SYN played for over ten years in the Philadelphia tri-state area. Along the way Flip became accomplished on mandolin, guitar, keyboards and other instruments. After SYN, Flip and Marc played for seven years with local favorite club band Witness.
Flip also holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PE Certification.

MARC BRITTON
Marc grew up in Pittsburgh with his brother Flip. He started at a young age on clarinet playing clarinet trios with brother Flip and Dad for community functions. Eventually, Marc moved on to alto sax. His father had a baritone ukulele and chord book always handy in the living room and at about the age of ten Marc started learning the uke. He eventually moved on to guitar.
Marc graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Music. He formed the band SYN that played in the greater Philadelphia tri-state area for many years. SYN was known for unique instrumentation and arrangements of popular top 40 rock tunes, progressive rock and originals. They had some local success in 1980 with a self produced album called "Cast the First Stone".
Marc has also played with local bands Witness and Egdon Heath. Today, in addition to performing in “Trespass”, Marc plays in an acoustic duo called “The Rummo & Koko Show” and trio called “RK3”.

BRIAN POWERS

Brian Powers (BP) began studying Drums, Percussion and all hittable instruments at the age of 11. His first gig was the classic standup snare drum part of A Little Drummer Boy for an elementary school show. His next gig was playing the trap kit in his church band along with his percussion teacher who played several Mallet instruments, the teacher’s wife on Flute/Guitars and a great bassist who did a spot on impersonation of Linc Hayes from the TV series The Mod Squad, very funny stuff, and after a few months of Sundays the Bossa Nova beat was relatively mastered. Continued lessons brought forth a rudimentary knowledge of the 40 essential rudiments of drumming (ok maybe 15 of them) and after many thousands of hours spent listening to, playing along to (and holding thumb on side of LP records to slow down tempo) the drumming of Baker, Bonham, Moon, Appice, Pace, Bruford, and that Collins chap, a life long interest in drumming was instilled in Brian. Further time was spent playing in formal and informal school bands, college groups, post college projects, a myriad of musical experiences which culminated in getting a real job! Luckily (for BP) he always kept a collection of drums and other things to hit lying about the house and when the opportunity came along to join up with Brian Filone again for some musical fun, out came the drummer boy again.
