Expand your horizons beyond Habitat. Hike to the peak of local mountains, traverse over eskers and paddle in kettle ponds. Through day trips and camp-outs, discover the geologic history of New England--how our region has been shaped over time. Day trips occur on Tuesdays and the second Monday, while camping trips occur each Wednesday through Friday. A detailed itinerary will be sent upon registration. Staff to Camper ratio: 1 staff to 5 campers. Session 1: July 5-15 Day Trips: (week 2 only) Punkatasset Hill and Purgatory Chasm Camping trips: Wildwood and Mt. Cardigan, NH Session 2: July 18-29 Day trips: Middlesex Fells, Punkatasset Hill, Wachusett Mountain Camping trips: Cape Cod and White Mountains Session 3: August 1-12 Day trips: Middlesex Fells, Punkatasset Hill, Pugatory Chasm Camping trips: Wildwood and White Mountains Session 4: August 15-26 Day trips: Purgatory Chasm, Middlesex Fells and Wachusett Mountain Camping trips: Cape Cod and Mt.
