Trees of Kirby Cove August 23, 2008

Scattered amongst the coastal scrub and grasslands, the trees of the Marin Headlands reveal much about the landscape and human history north of the Golden Gate. Bring water and lunch. Stay and enjoy lunch on the bluffs above Kirby Beach and hike back at your own pace. Meet at the Battery Spencer parking area on Conzelman Road for this moderate two-mile (one-way) hike to Kirby Cove.
