On Sunday, June 26 from 2-5 p.m. visit the Houston Arboretum for an enlightening tree identification workshop. Learn how to use leaves and various field guides to help analyze and identify several species of trees in the greater Houston area. After this class you will be able to identify the trees in your backyard or anywhere around the space city.
The workshop includes a two hour identification class, after a tour along the Arboretum trails to see what was learned in the class. Participants can bring a small leaf-covered tree branch from home for identification. The Houston Arboretum’s Conservation Director Joe Blanton, will be teaching this three hour workshop.
