Don't miss Treat Street 2009, "Monsters, Munchies and More at Every Door," on Saturday, October 24th from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the MAC

Now in its seventh year, Treat Street is a kids' Halloween fantasy. The MAC is transformed into a Halloween wonderland with special lighting, spooky sounds, costumed characters and treats around every corner.

Parents appreciate the fun, safe, indoor environment, and kids love the music, games, costume contests and trick or treating. Sponsors and exhibitors will be handing out candy as kids walk through the entire Treat Street neighborhood.

Every year the costume contests become more popular. From traditional to delightfully original, costumes of every type will be on display for the judges. There will be three costume contests in two age categories: age 1-6 and age 7-13. First prize in each contest is $250 and second prize is $100. This year's contest is sponsored by Rotella's Italian Bread

There will be three magical Halloween-themed areas sure to delight everyone. The Creepy Crafts Castle that will allow kids of all ages to make their own Halloween mask to take home the Pirate Treasure Island Midway, where kids will play their favorite midway games to win great prizes and Little Spider Hollow, an area just for kids three and under with bouncers and a special play area that will let even the littlest trick or treaters feel included and have fun!
