The Mitchell Museum of the American Indian in Evanston will display a diverse array of Native art in a new exhibit spotlighting the major categories of its 10,000-piece collection. The 75 pieces in the new special exhibit are stellar examples of craftsmanship in their respective categories and represent important Native art forms, the museum says. The items date from the mid-1800s to the late 20th century.
