The Marin History Museum proudly announces the opening of Treasures from the Vault, an exhibition celebrating the Museum’s 75 years of collecting and caring for artifacts from the local community. From cameras to Coke bottles and Boy Scout badges to Railroad Police badges, the Museum is exhibiting a selection of unique, unusual and downright domestic artifacts. Ever wondered how the museum works behind the scenes? Each case reveals a little about the Museum’s daily work and a little about the history of the county itself. Ever wondered where the Coca-Cola factory was in Marin County or how much houses sold for in the 1940s? Come to the Marin History Museum and find out.
