Star Eco Station puts the three environmental R's into practice at its Trash to Treasure Kids Fair, with games, crafts and activities that renew, reuse and recycle. To encourage a commitment to recycling in the children's community, the Star Eco Station offers a hands-on lesson in recycling with a "Trash to Treasure" recycled art competition. Students are challenged to create a 4-foot sculpture crafted entirely from recycled materials (adults may not assist in construction of sculptures). The winner of the recycled art contest will win a $300 grand prize.
