Over 2,000 years ago Greek philosopher Heraclitus wrote "change is the only constant". In the modern world his musing still rings true. To recognize this constant change in life and art Cantanker Magazine is pleased to announce Issue 6: Transitions, its second annual summer juried art catalog. This year's juror, independent curator and UT alumnus Leona Scull-Hons, has chosen works by 21 artists nationwide to explore this issue's theme. The catalog's release will coincide with a group exhibition featuring traditional and new media works by the artists selected for the catalog. Please join us on August 30 at Big Medium gallery for a relaxed summertime event with cold beverages, fans, watermelon, art and the latest issue of Cantanker.
