“Young eyes” is a photo exhibit that will take you in a fascinating journey in our everyday life. Each photo is a moment, a stolen moment, a breathtaking moment of what surrounds us daily and that we do not notice.
The artists eyes have captured these moments, and these moments have been seen at the same time by children.
Antoine de Saint Exupéry wrote in The Little Prince “Grown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it is exhausting for children to have to provide explanations over and over again.”
For us to find again, to see again the joys, the simplicity, the beauty of life with no prejudice and to not exhault the children, they will paint the photos of Andrea Mete and show us what we have been missing.
“All grown-ups were children first. (But few remember it).” Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince. So lets try to remember.
THE WORLD SHOULD ALWAYS BE SEEN THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD.
SO WE BELIEVE YOU WILL HAVE NOT ONE, BUT TWO GOOD REASONS TO COME BY THE CHELSEA ART MUSEUM FROM THE 26TH OF APRIL UNTIL THE 5TH OF MAY: SO YOU CAN SEE THE WORLD THROUGH THE EYES OF AN ARTIST AND TO SEE THE TRANSLATION OF THAT WORLD THROUGH THE EYES OF THE CHILDREN.
