Training on Snake Handling June 3, 2007

We at PFA (People for animals - Bangalore ) have arranged a training
program on snakes from Gowri Shankar (researcher and herpetologists )
on 3rd June Sunday 2:30 Pm , at PFA shelter .
Topics covered
1)Types of snakes around Bangalore/karnataka 2)How to recognize a snake ?
3) Handling of snakes .
4)How to make equipments for handling snakes ?
5)First aid for snake bites .

Gowri Shankar - Is a intrepid Education Officer and a herpetologist
working at Agumbe Rainforest Research Station (ARRS) which was founded
by Romolus Whitaker , to conserve King cobra , Gowri has tons of
knowledge and experience with the King cobra and is ready to share the
same with us .

The presentation will be followed with hands-on demonstration of the
