Community from all areas:

The whole idea of the Trail Ride is to regenerate student, parents, faculty and staff involvement. It is also to build a bridge between the schools and communities to enhance involvement of these two entities. The most important aspect of this event would be gathering members of all individual involved with the schools and surrounding communities to spend time together to experience nature. What better way is there to experience nature and meeting new people than traveling through it on your horse to cover the distance. The 2009 RMUSD Trail Ride has no Theme yet and needs your input for this year’s theme.
We are respectfully requesting to donate whatever items they can to make the Trail Ride a success. We would like to be able to feed the participants, and to award the riders (students, parents, community members, faculty and staff) and other participants with T-shirts for their participation. We would also like to be able to reward those who compete in scheduled activities with prizes.
Donations: We need food items for 2 days of dinners, breakfast and lunch (sub sandwich), snacks and water for the riders. Donations you provide do not have to be a truck load. You can donate an item and each item adds up to many. Some of the things we are looking at are foil, paper utensils, drinks, snack bars, pack of gum, bag of potatoes, dozen eggs, hot dogs/buns, hamburgers/buns…you name it, anything appropriate for camping out/cooking out…Marshmallows?
Prizes: will be awarded for the 1st 50 riders and T-shirts for all people involved in the Trail Ride. We have planned for a presenter as well as for demonstrations and activities.
Camping: Please provide your own tents, sleeping bags, blankets, chair…any appropriate items for a camp out.
Games: If you have outdoor game items such as baseball equipments, volleyball net and volleyball, and any other games you would like to share with others. We would appreciate it very much for you to bring these to share with others.
If you have donation to give please drop your donation off at Round Rock Parent Center…if you are unable to drop off your donation I am more than welcome to pick up your donations…just give me the directions. I would like to thank you so much in advance to all that will be participating and all who are donating items. I look forward to seeing you on April 10th.
Come and make this a memorable event for your family and community
