It is estimated that there are more than 30 million slaves in the world today, more than at any other point in human history.

Transnational Humanitarian Advocacy Alliance, (THAAL) presents TraffickJam, a fundraising event aimed to inform, educate and mobilize individuals and communities to combat Human Trafficking locally, nationally and internationally. This event will be held on Saturday, October 22 at St. Andrew’s UMC, 9203 S. University Blvd., Highlands Ranch, CO 80126 beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a banquet and preeminent lawyer and advocate, Beth Klein, Esq., as Keynote Speaker. A concert by Straight Company follows at 7 p.m. Tickets are $ 40.00 (Banquet and Concert) available by calling 303-800-4265. Additionally, a sale of Jewelry, Clothing, THAAL memorabilia and additional items will be offered between 5:30-9:00 p.m. This sale is open to the public at no charge.

Beth Klein, Esq. was awarded the 21 Leaders Award from Womens E News for being an advocate for the enslaved and for writing effective anti-human trafficking law, pro bono. From 2006 to date she has been voted by over 13,000 lawyers as a Superlawyer in the State of Colorado and one of the top 25 women lawyers in Colorado for multiple years. More Magazine in its May 2011 edition named her as one of the 50 Women That You Want On Your Side along with Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Hillary Clinton and many other women world leaders. She has written laws for many states and works with nations around the world to end slavery through law.

For over 30 years Straight Company has remained true to their a’cappella roots and continues to deliver vibrant, airtight harmonies. They have performed throughout the US and abroad at small, private affairs, Six Flags, Disney World as well as for heads of state such as for Vice President Al Gore.

TraffickJam is a fundraising event aimed to inform, educate and mobilize individuals and communities to combat Human Trafficking locally, nationally and internationally.

THAAL will focus its efforts on 3 areas:

· Identification: Identifying high-risk groups

· Prevention: Addressing conditions that make individuals and groups susceptible to trafficking

· Education and Information: Educate vulnerable groups and surrounding communities about trafficking

Transnational Humanitarian Advocacy Alliance, (THAAL) is a global non-profit strategically structured to respond to natural and man-made disasters; to provide quality, effective human services to refugees, internally displaced populations, and victims of human trafficking. THAAL seeks to protect, preserve and restore the human tapestry by promoting wholeness and dignity of individuals through the advancement of education, business development, and cultural arts.
