Learn about the benefits of using roundabouts as intersection alternatives to increase safety and traffic flow.
The City of Ann Arbor staff and consulting engineers specializing in transportation and traffic issues will discuss the characteristics of a modern roundabout and what makes this intersection alternative so effective at increasing safety. The team will review the rules for vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle traffic in a roundabout, and examine the type of locations where a roundabout is a good solution, as well as the locations where it should not be used.
