Traditional vs. Project-Based Education Panel Talk April 7, 2006

What is the difference between project-based learning and traditional learning? What are the advantages and the disadvantages of choosing project-based learning? What kinds of students learn best in a project-based setting? A group of students, teachers, and parents will answer these questions and more at a panel discussion, ?Traditional vs. Project-Based Education.? The discussion will be held at Northfield School of Arts & Technology (ARTech) on Friday April 7 from 7:00 ? 8:30 pm. The school is located at 1719 Cannon Road in Northfield. ARTech is a public, tuition-free charter school for students in grades 6-12 with a focus on project-based learning. Applications are now being accepted for the 2006-2007 school year.
