Trademark's Valentine's Day Aphrodisiac Menu February 14, 2013

Trademark in Alexandria is celebrating Valentine's Day all weekend long, with a special Aphrodisiac-inspired menu courtesy of Executive Chef Matthew Miller. Available Thursday, February 14th through Saturday the 16th, guests can enjoy a seductive three-course prix-fixe menu ($45) featuring 24 natural aphrodisiacs such as figs, asparagus, honey and hot chilies.

Trademark's Valentine's Day Aphrodisiac Menu will feature starters like the FENNEL & POTATO SOUP with crispy gnocci "croutons" and vanilla salt, or the BEET & CARAMELIZED FIG SALAD with arugula, radicchio, beets, prosciutto crisp in a honeyed raspberry vinaigrette, and mains like the 7 oz. FILET MIGNON with bacon hash, broccolini, mustard and cremini mushroom cream, and CACCIUCCO-STYLE SEAFOOD STEWwith rockfish, shrimp, scallops, lobster, clams and mussels in a tomato broth with a hint of chili pepper, served with a grilled garlic baguette. Chef will also prepare special sweets, while Mixologist Chris Bassett will be mixing up $8 craft Valentine's Day cocktails all weekend.
