The lives of many civilians on the Carolina frontier were disrupted by the French and Indian War. Join hundreds of soldiers, Native Americans and civilians as they set up camps near Fort Dobbs. Visitors can experience a snapshot of life on the edge of the British Empire in the 1750's. The event will feature a re-created Cherokee attack and scholarly lectures, as well as on-going demonstrations of 18th Century camp life and trades.
