TRACY RICE
Tracy Rice is a singer/songwriter from southwestern Ontario, Canada. She began her solo career in 1996 and moved to the US 2 years ago to record her third album and pursue her musical aspirations. Wednesday will be Tracy's first time playing KCMO.

Tracy has opened for well-known Canadian artists like Carole Pope and Terri Clark, as well as Australian fingerstyle legend Tommy Emmanuel, who contributed the guitar tracks for her last album. She describes her musical style as "rock with country influences" and her performance as "not some little girl sitting on a chair plucking out mellow folk tunes." She's quickly becoming known in the US for her power vocals and onstage magnetism. Move over Joan Jett! This is a show not to be missed!
