The Mendocino Stories and Music Series proudly presents American folk singer Tracy Grammer on Saturday, November 10. Tracy, a Red House Records recording artist is known for her work as half of the folk duo Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer and for the solo career that she has continued since Carter's death. The concert will begin at 7:30PM at the Hill House of Mendocino.
With a professional career spanning over 20 years, Rob Schnell and Grammer have been playing and recording together since 2004, but it wasn't until they started playing in a trio with bassist Michael Kurman in 2011 that she realized what a strong singer Schnell is. "He has a fantastic range, a keen ear, and he follows me perfectly," says Grammer. "The guy is full of surprises. I always learn something when I play with him."
