With the sudden, unexpected death of her musical partner and songwriting phenomenon Dave Carter in 2002, Tracy Grammer was left to pick up the pieces. She embraced the musical community’s collective loss by dedicating herself to the continuing performance and celebration of his music. She has produced three solo and two duo albums since Carter’s death, including the critically acclaimed tribute CD Flower of Avalon with John Jennings as co-producer, and her most recent release on Red House Records, Little Blue Egg, an album of previously-unreleased Dave & Tracy recordings, part of a year-long celebration to mark the 10th anniversary of his death.
