TRAC: A Dynamic and Humorous Presentation on Hinduism March 15, 2008

TRAC (Tradition, Religion, Aspiration, Culture) is a dynamic and humorous workshop for students, young parents, and others who want to understand Hindu tradition and culture. It is designed to keep Hindus in touch with our heritage. In January 2007, the TRAC program was launched in Phoenix (held at ASU), where Dato J. Jegathesan from Malaysia conducted a dynamic seminar on Hinduism, and raised thought provoking questions for Hindus today. Some of the questions were:

- What is Hinduism?
- How is it relevant to modern life?
- What do all those rituals mean?
- Why are there so many Gods?
- How do you explain it to your children?

With a perfect blend of seriousness, humor, music, and interaction with the audience, Jegathesan was able to capture the attention of more than 300 people who attended the launch. Even the younger ones were seen tied to their seats. The fun-filled event was unanimously enjoyed, and due to great demand, Jegathesan has agreed to come again. This time, it will be a 2 day event (called TRAC 1), where Jegathesan will go more in depth on the topics introduced at the launch.
