From award-winning writer Steven Peros, author of the play and screenplay for The Cat’s Meow (directed by Peter Bogdanovich) and twice-published Samuel French playwright, comes FOOTPRINTS, a haunting, hopeful and unforgettable mystery. The film chronicles a young woman (Sybil Temtchine) who wakes up at dawn on the footprints and handprints of the famed Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood with no idea who she is or how she got there. Her journey of discovery, interweaving Hollywood’s glorious past with its colorful present, takes her from sunrise to sunset, never leaving that mythic half-mile stretch of Hollywood Boulevard known round the world.
In celebration of those whose lifelong film careers have contributed to the great magic and notoriety of the “boulevard lined with stars”, Paladin, Mann Theatres, and Our Gal Pictures is hosting a Special Premiere of FOOTPRINTS inviting all members of Hollywood’s motion picture unions and guilds, age 62 and over, to attend. Guests may secure their reservations by phone or via email.
And in celebration of those who travel from afar to see the boulevard, supporting The Movies and their Stars, any visitor to Hollywood with a non-California ID is invited to attend this Special Premiere by RSVP or by showing up at the theater where they will be admitted on a first-come first serve basis, space permitting.
