TUESDAY AUGUST 28 - TWO EVENTS, ONE GREAT EVENING - Join Java Knights in Trinity Bellwoods Park for OUTDOOR CHARADES - it's a great way to meet and mingle with other members of the queer ~ west community.CHARADE TOPICS will be health-related, so read up on the latest health news that affects Toronto's queer community. Meet at the park gates (Queen Street West and Strachan Avenue) at 7 p.m. One & All Welcome to Attend. Following Outdoor Charades, we're debuting Wilde Chats Philosophy Cafe

Artistic gabbers, Philosophy buffs and Deep thinkers pass ideas, and the sugar at Wilde Chats, in Trinity Bellwoods Park. Which offers comfortable surroundings for vibrant street level discussions on burning issues of the day. No formal philosophy training required; real life experience desired. Philosophy in a café is street-level philosophy. Anyone can walk in, have a cup, and have their say. Or you can just listen. Listen to your neighbours wrestle with the great ideas of all times, and the pressing public questions of the day. It can be amusing. It can be informing. But, more than that, it builds something. It builds community. Moderated by: Michael Paré who has been hosting Conversation and Philosophy cafes in the Toronto's west-end for the last five years. One and All welcome to attend. Toronto Wilde Chats was founded in October 2005

Wilde Chats is a member of the Simon Fraser University Philosophers' Café discussion group in Vancouver, B.C.www.sfu.ca/philosopherscafe/ There is also a Wilde Chats social group in San Francisco www.isparksf.com
