Tony Smith: Drawings January 5, 2011

A selection of rarely exhibited and early drawings by American artist Tony Smith (1912-1980) will be on view. Some 30 drawings will be selected from the Smith Estate as well as from private collections. The work, executed in the 1950's, precedes Smith's emergence as one of the most important sculptors of the mid-20th century, following his career as an architectural designer.
