Tony Orlando's Heroes Benefit Concert June 4, 2010

On June 4, 2010 at the Patriots Theater in the historic Trenton War Memorial, a concert will be held to raise necessary funds for a handicapped accessible bus that will travel throughout New Jersey as part of a Veterans' outreach initiative.

For the first time in history, Allies, Inc. is joining forces with the State of New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs for a spectacular fundraiser that will benefit DMAVA in serving our veterans.

Allies, Inc is a statewide accredited nonprofit agency dedicated to providing housing, healthcare, meaningful employment and recreational opportunities to people with special needs in the communities of their choice and enriching the lives of people with special needs by promoting their greater independence with dignity, respect and understanding.

This historical event truly defines our mission of serving, giving us the privilege to further our vision and support our veterans.

We are planning a spectacular event with Tony Orlando, a long time supporter of our men and women in the military who has traveled his entire career performing overseas to entertain our troops and worked tirelessly to give back to these incredible heroes. Tony has agreed to come to New Jersey to perform for this much needed fundraiser.

Our men and women who proudly served in the military deserve our help. This handicapped accessible bus will travel to the more remote areas of our state providing our veterans with much needed services and resources. As we all know there have been drastic budget cuts all across our state, particularly during these difficult economic times.

These budget cuts should not become a barrier when providing critical services to our veterans who fought for our freedom.
