The Tony Middleton Quartet will perform at the Sanctuary Hotel (located at 132 West 47th Street) on Monday, August 20th from 7pm to 11pm. Tony is joined by fellow musicians Jesse Elder (piano), Kenji Yoshitake (bass), and Jacob Melchoir (drums) to generate a relaxing night full of soulful jazz. Tony Middleton is best known for his multi-talented singing abilities and albums “Paris Blues,” and “Swingin for Hamp.” Jesse Elder is a four time ASCAP award winner composer and pianist and has performed with jazz legends such as Billy Hart and Gary Thomas. Bassist Kenji Yoshitake has been playing since age 12 and attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. Drummer Jacob Melchoir brings his most notable calypso, Afro-cuban, and Brazilian tones to the quartet to complete the group.
