Red Sky presents its Dora award-winning dance and live music production of TONO on November 13, 2010 at the Betty Oliphant Theatre.
Red Sky's Tono is a stampede for the senses: a visually brilliant dance and live music creation that connects the world Indigenous cultures of Canada, Mongolia and China.
Conceived and directed by Sandra Laronde, and choreographed by Sandra Laronde and Roger Sinha, Tono is grounded in the theme of horse culture and the grasslands/prairies, spanning the plains traditions of Canada, China and Mongolia. Red Sky continues to mesmerize audiences with its celebration of the creature universally regarded as the epitome of strength, grace and beauty.
