This being the 6th installment of Rick Reed's extravaganza of of strange beauty in sounds and light.

$8 minimum but please DONATE ALL YOU CAN! proceeds to benefit KOOP 91.7FM radio's effort to rebuild after the terrible arson. KOOP is back on the air, but still needs the community's help help to set things right and move forward. KOOP has been a great friend to the creative/adventurous music community over the years and we owe much to their ongoing viability.

Toneburst 6, a semi-regular festival of new improvised and electronic music will be held for the first time at the Salvage Vanguard Theater, Saturday night, February 23rd, starting at 8PM. This show will be a benefit for the Commercial Suicide radio show, presented by The Church of the Friendly Ghost and Koop Radio. The line up for TB 6 includes solo and group performances by local experimental musicians such as Nick Hennies, Alex Keller, Brent Fariss/Sara Norris, Thomas Fang, Rick Reed, Travis Weller & ensemble, plus a few special guests TBA. As always, expect flashing lights, video and film projections, loud and soft sounds of terrible, yet strangely beautiful tonalities and textures.

There will also be tasty refreshments, a cash bar, a fund raising raffle of artwork, musical equipment, Cd's, and other items of great interest with all proceeds going towards the rebuilding of KOOP Radio which, as you know, suffered yet another devastating fire January 6th of this year.
