Tone & Niche, (tone & Neesh), a band out of Detroit, MI., is made up of four musicians. Fronting the band is singer/songwriter Anthony Retka and violinist Nicole Varga. Drums and Bass back the duo during most live performances, and many other instruments fill in the recorded albums. The band's influences stem from a variety of musical performers such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan and The Squirrel Nut Zippers to Billie Holiday, Stephane Grappelli and Duke Ellington.
