TOMMY STINSON. Bass player and founding member of the seminal Minneapolis band The Replacements, Stinson switched to rhythm guitar when that band disbanded in 1991, forming the Stones-y/Face-y rock band Bash & Pop, then the poppier Perfect a few years later. In the late 90?s, he was asked to switch back to bass guitar and join Guns & Roses, a position he still holds today. STINSON is touring in support of his new album, Village Gorilla Head. Called a ?Stunning achievement? by Rolling Stone Magazine, VGH features hints of the Beatles, Clash, Cheap Trick, Squeeze and Big Star. Also on the bill BRAIN BOX and KEN WILL MORTON.
