Tommy Flowers and the Birth of Colossus September 4, 2007

Tommy Flowers worked for the GPO telecommunications branch during the Second World War. He led the team building Colossus, the first electronic computer. Colossus was used at Bletchley Park in Oxfordshire, home of Britain's wartime codebreakers and their efforts to crack the Enigma code.

Tony Sale, head of the Colossus re-build programme at Bletchley Park will give a unique insight into his correspondence with Tommy Flowers and work on Colossus.
