Raised in Washington DC, Tommy's first comedy stint was at a strip club where he got on stage with no prepared material. He was an instant hit. Concert Promoters picked him out later at local talent showcases to open up for such acts as Patti LaBelle, Kenny G. and Luther Vandross.
Tommy Davidson's comic talents first came to fore on the groudbreaking comedy series "In Living Color" where he joined cast members Damon Wayans, Keenan Ivory Wayans, Kim Wayans, Jim Carrey, Jamie Foxx, and Chris Rock. Davidson has been seen in numerous comedy feature films including: "Woo", "Half Baked", "Plump Fiction", "Booty Call", "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls", "CB4", "Strictly Business", "Juwanna Man". In addition to his many feature films, Tommy Davidson has had starring roles in the television movie "Santa Who?" and series "Between Brothers", "Magic Hour", as well as a regular host of Comedy Central's "Premium Blend".
