R&B singer, songwriter and guitarist Tommy Castro is one of the most popular and creative roots artists to emerge in recent years.

Tommy Castro and his band have been nominated for 5 Blues Music Awards for 2010. This complements his already having been awarded 2008 Entertainer of the Year. His latest album, Hard Believer, is week after week maintaining at the top of the 2009 House of Blues top 10 CD list. It is also nominated for Best Contemporary Blues Album for 2010 and, if it wins, it will join his last album, PainKiller, as Contemporary Blues Album of the Year.
