Don't miss the show that will leave you laughing in the aisles. Tom Lehrer's hilariously cynical songs are as timeless today as when he wrote them almost fifty years ago. A marvelous local cast of six will take you on a comic voyage the likes of which you have never been on before - love, pollution, religion, sex, intolerance, nuclear power... no subject is sacred in Lehrer's slightly off-center world!
A revue based on the words and music of famed satirist Tom Lehrer. Songs include "Poisoning Pigeons In The Park", "The Masochism Tango" and "The Vatican Rag".
Important! We regret any confusion but Tomfoolery is not a Tom Lehrer concert. Except for a few isolated instances including a command performance for the Queen of England in honor of Cameron Mackintosh, Mr. Lehrer hasn't performed personally in almost 40 years. This show is a wonderfully crafted revue based on his words and music and performed by a local cast. The original show was a hit in London and New York and many other cities, and has repeated its success in numerous other productions, including when it played locally in Santa Cruz in 2001 and in San Francisco in 2003.
