Tomato Fest August 22, 2009

Powell Gardens continues its new Food Fest Series with everyone's favorite backyard vegetable. Sample some of our 37 varieties of tomatoes from yellow to red to purple-black, and enjoy a chef's demonstration by Jasper Mirabile of Jasper's Restaurant and Marco Polo's Italian Market. Pick up expert growing tips and shop for tomatoes to take home. Top things off with a Fresher-than-Fresh Snocone (extra purchase while supplies last). There will be special activities for kids and Fresh: A Garden Cafe will offer a festival-themed lunch.
