Tom Brosseau is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who was born and raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota. His song, "How to Grow a Woman from the Ground" was covered by Chris Thile (Nickel Creek), who released a 2006 album of the same name.

His latest album, Posthumous Success, was released June 23rd. He'll be performing songs from the cd, with Ethan Rose and Shelley Short, at The Downtown Eatery Friday, June 26th.
